When you start running ads you want to know what is what when you’re looking at your Ads Manager account. The more campaigns you start to run online you will find out what works for you and how you will best find your ads.
When you’re naming your ads you have three elements to name which are the campaign, name, ad set, and the ad name. By naming these ads you are on the right track to managing an efficient ads account.
How we name our Ads for clients is below. It’s the most simplified approach we have and it works quite well for clients but also for us to know what is going on with the ads.
Why naming your campaigns is so important
Save Time: Keep yourself organized and it will go a long way by adding small details to the campaign name, ad set name, and ad name.
Pull up any campaign or ad sets in seconds, what used to take you a few minutes.
Easy Reporting: Collate your campaigns by the names, makes your monthly reporting that much easier, and become extremely valuable when running custom reports.
Analyze Quickly: A professional advertiser can make sense of what is going on with just a glance at the ads account. Don’t waste time on what should be spent elsewhere.
This is what you might have looked like if you’ve already started your adverts and what we will try to avoid doing when working with you. By putting in a simple process and template across your ads you will start to own your own Facebook ads by becoming more efficient in reviewing and reporting (R&R).
